I have the service manual and it's very clear on how to sync the carburetor using manometers but it only mentions "1 turn out" on idle mixture adjustment. In fact it says more about EPA regulation and the importance of plugging the adjustment screw than the actual adjustment procedure. So my newbie question is:
I need to sync the carburetors, should I adjust the idle mixture first before adjusting the idle speeds of the 3 other carburetors? If so, should I just follow the "1 turn out" setting or should listen to the RPM and adjust it properly. Since there are 4 idle mixture screws (btw, there are no plugs so the previous owner must have pried them out), should I adjust one and the set the other 3 at the exact turn out or I should adjustment the others individually?
