Looks like I need to replace my key switch for my 1977 Mercury 402 mercury controls (blue-band). The one I have is 5 terminal - 3 position, with a separate choke switch at the top rear of control box.
Mercury Part Number: 54211T

Wondering if anyone has successfully used the Marpac switch with push choke to replace this. It's pretty tight in that control box, but wondering if I could get away with Marpac switch.

I'm not sure that ctrl box one would fit - seems a little deep?

Looks like the first one, ask them. You can wire it so the push/choke and the one in the control box works.

Got the Marpac 7-1150 switch and thought I'd share what I found. I would have had to expand the hole in the Mercontrol to get it to fit (would have been very tight depth wise also), so I decided to dash mount it and glad I did.... all the wires coming off the back would have made it nearly impossible to fit in that Mercontrol box.

There are only two wires still connected to Mercontrol for the neutral interlock switch.

New switch works like a champ
