Hello new to the forum recently purchased a 1974 mercury 105hp jollyroger boat 16feet took the boat to the lake today and when it was first in the water it would not go forward or back, had a spare propeller in the boat when I got it changed that, took it back to the water the boat would go forward in neutral the propeller still turns slowly put the boat in reverse after I came to a some what of a stop, the motor lifted up and I was not able to go in reverse or forward lowered motor and just went back to dock. Took the boat out and tried forward and reverse It looks like its not spinning the other way I need some help please thank you.
