Gday all its been a while.
Removing outboard for transom repair and need to disconnect wiring, fuel and oil lines and throttle / shift cables.Im guessing its best to disconnect all from motor side.
Any advice on doing this the right way? When removing throttle and shift cables do I need to re adjust idle when re connecting or just re attach in same spot.
Wiring all heads to one plug near switch box, does this plug just pull apart?
Any help appreciated.

pretty straight forward... everything at tha motor but very "first thing" is battery connections......

if ya worried about "adjustments" you can measure tha barrel nuts for shift and throttle from ends of each or tape 'em up when ya pull 'em out....when in doubt take lotsa pictures......

If you don't screw around with the adjustments on the throttle and shift cables, you should not need to readjust them.
