New to me 9.8

New to me a Merc 9.8, serial number 7056551. I can not see that number any place on the net but I know its a Canada build, i figure between 1982-85.
Anyone know for sure what year it is?
I need the a reverse cam lock # 65216 I think but it shows as discontinued.

I just did a quick internet search and found that reverse cam lock #65216 listed at a lot of places. $20 dollars will get you one. EBay just sold one for $5 dollars...And it seems like that a part number went on a 1984 model, but could also go on other years maybe, I really don't know... Have you searched on here yet for that part?

No i have not started looking, i want to verify the year first. The guy i bought it from said he thought it was 1982? Someone will know what year it is on here i am sure.

O so common for seller to say it is newer than it is.----------KIJIJI is full of them.-------List says it is a 1975 model.
