My ancient 6hp Merc needs a new impeller, but I fear it's so old I may be SOL.... iBoats store only covers S/N 2529894 and up, whereas my S/N is 1752046..... circa early 60's I think.

Ideas?

Visit your local Mercury dealer.------They may have it in stock and can certainly get it for you.

You should be able to get the impeller from one of the dealers that handle parts for the older motors. Old Mercs . com or marine engines . com or a call to sea way marine . You can also call to the iboats 800 number and talk to a sales rep who might have one but not listed online. JMO
