Note that each stator coil is individually replaceable and goes by the length of its wires as to which is which, so be sure you get the correct one if you buy new.

Note the 339-5312A and 339-5313A coils, #4 in the diagram.

p.s. BTW I'm assuming you've done resistance checks to establish a bad stator coil (or DVA readings); it is more common to see switchbox & ign coil problems on the 7.5 and 9.8 models.
