Fuel oil mixture for a 1973 115 hp mercury 1150

Newbie here. I have a 115 hp mercury 1150. I don't know what fuel oil mixture should be, if any. Also do you just pour the oil in the tank and add gas?

50:1 . Add the oil to the tank and then the fuel or ad the fuel then the oil. Doesn't matter . Modern 2 cycle oils mix immediately.

Be sure the oil is rated TCW-3

If you are adding 12 gal or more, it helps to add a pint of oil to the tank then add 6 gal gasoline, then a pint of oil and then 6 gal of gasoline. This alternating of oil and gas, helps it to mix faster. When the tank gets close to full, add a 1/2 pint oil and 3 gal of gas. That will minimize any miscalculation of how much fuel you need.
