2005 Mercury 60 Hp 4 stroke lubrication questions

Greetings board members. I recently purchased a used 2005 Lund Pro Sport 1600 with a Mercury 60 HP 4 stroke outboard. The manual calls for 10w-30 oil for the crankcase and, for the life of me, I can't find anywhere in the manual what weight gearcase oil to use. I searched around and saw some references to 80w-90 gearcase oil. So, is the 80w-90 gearcase oil correct and would any high quality10w-30 oil be fine for the crankcase? Yep, any good quality 10W30 will work for the crankcase. For your gear case, use what Merc recommends- Mercury or Quicksilver high performance gear oil.
