Merc 90 Air Filter Location?

Hi all I can't seem to find where the air filter is in my seloc manual 1978 Merc 90(900) inline 6 4648419 Also does anyone know what the spark plug compression should be? Thanks

Your motor does not have an air filter. It will have a black plastic grating over each of the three carbs. Compression should be even across all cylinders. The actual PSI should be 90+.
