Hey all...I have a 1991 140 horse mercruiser I/o. Problem is it start fine when cold but if take it to the lake and run it..shut it off do a drift and go to restart it it won't start. I have to hold the throttle all the way open for it to start? What would cause this..the fuel pump I replaced with a electric one so I know it's getting fuel..when it does finally start it stumbles almost like it was flooded...I've been told it's vapor locking so I reran the fuel line so it's not near any hot spots. Read also it could be a bad tach? Didn't really understand that...anyways any help on the right direction would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks. Bob
