early 90s 80 hp mercury motor

the motor will start up fine the first 2 or 3 runs on the lake but acts like its not getting spark the next time I try to start it. after that I take 1 of 4 plugs out to check if its getting spark and put it back and it fires up after a couple cranks what could be causeing it to do this

I have a Mercury 80 outboard motor and the trim will not work all the sudden. It just makes clicking noises.ni went to check the level in the reservoir and it appears full but it is milky looking with a slight pinkish tint. Is this normal? If not can anyone offer any help?

Serial # is required as the early 90's version of an 80 hp is a 3 cylinder motor.

this is a 4 cylinder I was thinking it was a 90s motor but I guess I am wrong where do you find the sn
