1986 Mercury 135 hp oil injection bypass

I recently purchased a boat with a 1986 Mercury 135hp outboard on it. The motor seems in good shape with good compression. My question is how do I bypass the oil pump so I can go pre-mix?

I found the part today. It was $15. Has anyone done this? Would like to know the steps for removing the oil pump.
