I bought this boat last fall but only had it in the water once and noticed the water pressure gauge wasn't working. Now that Spring has arrived, decided to do some preventative maintenance and repair some things that weren't working or hooked up. I replaced the water pressure gauge and hose, installed a new pump kit (gaskets and impeller). However, when I hooked up the muffs and started the engine; I still have very little water pressure even when increasing the rpm's. I pulled the hoses off and blew them out with compressed air. Still no pressure to gauge. I am at a loss at this point. The only thing I can think of is perhaps not having enough water volume through the hose even though I have plenty of pressure.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Get yourself a cut off trash barrel to run it in, not every motor pumps properly with the muffs.
