Purchased this project motor and jet drag screw is apparently missing as there is an empty hole with threads directly across from idle screw hole. Three screws are listed for BC1C carb, .088- .090- .092, Does anybody have any knowledge of which to use and what is the function of this screw? Does it screw in tightly, or is it adjustable? Thanks for any advice.

That screw for your motor is the .090 jet needed. You can get one at Marine Engines on the web if not here at IBoats. JMO

Thanks again for your help, I live rural in southern il. and it's a very long ride for any marine related parts or advice, without this site I would have given up on my favorite hobby, Old Outboards.

South Central Outboard in Beacher IL. is a salvage dealer of older outboards, and may be one place close for parts that are listed as NLA .
