Just wondering if anyone can help me out. I have what I believe is a 1995 (if memory serves me correctly) 9.9 hp mercury 2 stroke outboard. The plate or sticker on the bracket is gone and the plug on the block is painted but there is definitely no number stamped on it. Is there anywhere else the serial number would be located? I've got a bad seal in the lower unit and all the oil is leaking out by the prop and need to get the right seal kit plus any parts down the road this number would be very useful to me since I'm not 100% on the year cause I bought her about 9-10 yrs ago.
