Need help with what may be a mercury wiring harness

Hello there. I found this wiring harness rolling around the shop and I am intrigued because I never seen one like it. I believe it to be for a small Mercury motor, may be a kicker motor. Does anybody know what this is?, I need a clue to find the right part number. Thanks. (see pictures below).

Looks like a extension harness for the yammy made Mariners

Thanks for the help, I am unfamiliar with those models, any idea on the years and horse power ranges?.
