loosing prime

I own a 1982 Mercury 9.8 outboard and it is loosing the prime to the carb. I have replaced the tank, fuel lines, bulb and carb. and it will start and run about 2 minutes then quit. If you pump the bulb when it starts to quit it will continue to run. What else can I do?

What is the engine s/n?

If you pump the bulb and it continues to run, the fuel pump requires a look as you have become the fuel pump.
