Im trying to convert old pully steering system to teleflex for new mercury outboard, but im not sure which kit to order (many types and sizes). My boat is a 1957 14' Lonestar King Commander with side console with grooved drum behind steering wheel. Measurements are 1.5 ft from wheel to sidewall, 8 ft to transom, 2 ft to middle of engine (4' transom). I'd like to order here. Many thanks for any help. BTW, the new motor will be a lightweight 20hp with electric start if that matters. Will need new mercury throttle and shift controls and cables, but guess that will come from the motor dealer (?).
