Hi guys,
I currently have a smart craft (version 3.03) connected to my 2006 200hp Optimax. I purchased the boat and the gauge never worked from the beginning, but I am finally getting around to fixing it.
Currently when I turn the ignition to accesories the gauge turns on and reads low numbers for all of the information given on the gauge and then slowly climbs up and fluctuates. For example the fuel usage starts off at 3L/hr and then climbs to around 30L and just fluctuates, all this happening before the motor is even turned on.
The only stable information is the oil pressure (fluctuates from 0.7 to 0.9psi?) and also the L of fuel used for the life of the motor.
I have checked and found there is a termination resistor at the motor and gauge end. There is no junction boxes and the motor directly connects to the smartcraft gauge and that is all.
I have attached a picture of what my gauge looks like.
Can anyone give me an idea of what could be the problem?
First time posting on here and any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Chris
