Alright here's the issue.
just got the boat.
It idled great, putted around a bit ran great,and full open ran great, 42ish mph on a lowe 175fs. for about an hour.
then it happened... it started to act like i ran out of fuel and died. was able to get it started a few times and putt back to dock this took a while more than five minutes between idle runs. with a new (used) boat the dealer told me it had 2/3 tank by guage. i thought in my haste to not try to fill it up maybe the gas guage was broke. it only took 15 gal to fill. specs say 27 gal tank.
I seen posts about filters, water seps, and vapor canister things but i don't have a manual or know what these items are.
I know where the fuel filter is but unsure about the other items.
Also i read something about the fuel tank mounted pump.
Thats all the info i have right now it got too dark.
anyone have any ideas?
if you have the fuel system diagram that would help or pics of items.
PS the motor only has 206 hours on it and the dealer said the o scope looked great.
