Cannot find trim sender unit

Hey Guys,

I'm having trouble finding my trim sender unit on a 94 Mercury 125 hp outboard. ID#OG049950. And I cant find a replacement unit either. I just bought a 94 Nitro 180 TF and the trim gauge is ramp at full up all the time. I'm figuring it's the sender as it probly has never been replaced. Can anyone help me with this matter. Do you have the service manual? If not, see my PM to you in Notifications at the top of the page.

I believe that trim sending was an option on that engine and if it is on yours, you should see it on the RH side of the swivel bracket where the trim ram attaches to the swivel bracket.

If you do have the manual, look at section 5B, page 39, para 6, fig 53966.

I would really appreciate the manual. My nitro has a trim gauge so I just assumed it would have the sender.
