1998 Mercury 40hp part #s

I have a 1998 Mercury 40hp 2stroke serial# 0G662847 that I am going to replace the impeller on. Do I need to get the water pump repair kit that comes with a new housing and seals or just a new impeller, and what are the correct part#s for this motor? Do I need any special marine grease or sealant? I have never changed an impeller before, but I watched some videos and it seems pretty simple. Thanks in advance.

See the impeller as item 21 under GEAR HOUSING (DRIVE SHAFT)(1.83:1 GEAR RATIO). The repair kit is the very last item at the bottom of the page. You may get away with just the impeller and the gaskets but you won't really know until you get it apart. and inspect the housing and the plate.
