Hi, I was wondering if these little kicker engines have trouble pulling fuel thru the inboard fuel tank? My main fuel line is hooked from the fuel tank to a high pressure pump/filter then to the fuel/water seperater. It is then split from there, one fuel line to my 350 v8 and then the other fuel line to my 8hp mercury. I have found that after running the kicker motor trolling for a while it will die. I have to pump the ball to get the fuel back to the engine. (Sometimes) I have to fire up the main engine fuel pump to get fuel back in the lines because the ball won't get it back on it's own. I have been told to carry a spare tank because these engines can't pick the fuel up out of the tank. I have talked to guys on the water with the same set up and they don't have the same problem. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Chris

What's different between your set up and theirs? I'd be inclined to go with a seperate tank for the kicker !
