Recently acquired a lund with a 2002 60hp elpt efi, serial # 0T523295, just replacing all the maintenance recommended parts and have had a little confusion with the fuel filter. In the manual, and on other sites when I look up the part with the serial # it shows an inline filter encased in a white plastic housing. The filter on the engine has a removable bowl with the filter element inside of it. The filter is available, but says it's for 115hp, 75hp, and 150hp I think. I ordered one of the inline filters thinking I could remove the element but the filter was all in one molded piece. I haven't received the other filter yet but I hope it fits! I'll try and attach a picture.

Though it's not listed in the 40/50/60 EFI (4 CYLINDER) 4-STROKE break down, it should be the same one as it looks similar to the one in manual page 1B-13.

Be sure to let us know, Good luck.:)

I will, the dimensions were the same, so I'm thinking it will work out.

Well the filter fit perfectly, merc part #881540. Although not listed for my size motor, it's sold for 75-115 hp, ended up saving me a few $$.
