Looking to possibly install an electric start to my Mariner 25. It was purchased new in 1985. The motor works fine but in cold weather my shoulder doesn't feel like pulling the rope. Is it possible to do it at reasonable cost?

Depends on what you consider reasonable. I did a Merc 15 a few years back and it ran me about 450. That didn't include charge coils, regulator or neutral safety switch.

Thanks for your help. I will proceed to have it added on. The motor will start in one to two pulls but my 63 year old shoulder doesn't feel like working that hard especially on 30 degree mornings. It doesn't hurt to plan for the future either.
