I was wondering if perhaps a set if carbs from an older engine would fit and work on my engine. The older carbs numbers are BA3A 607-5975A1 and BA3A 607-5975 1976-1979 Mercury Serial No. 4415672 My engine carb numbers is WMA6-1 and WMA6-3 manufacture date 6-87. Engine number OB225557. I have a 45 HP Mercury classic 50 engine. I was wondering if perhaps someone can tell me if these carburators will work for me.
