Mercury Verado 250hp exhaust temp and cooling water questions

I am wondering if anyone has any information on typical exhaust temperature you would witness at the relief port during idle and WOT for a Mercury Verado engine? Should you be able to put your hand up to it?

Also, does anyone have an idea how much cooling water is pumped to the block during idle and WOT? After it is used to cool the block, how is it dispersed into the exhaust?

Any help is greatly appreciated!
