I need to get a set of control cables for a 1989 Mariner 30 HP (Made in Japan - by Yamaha) It looks like I need teleflex 630 cables. But the cables do not apear to have the connecting ends to the motor. Can anyone help me out with a part name or part number of the items that connect the cables to the shift and throtle arms on the motor? I have the mercury side mount controls 88170A7 that are made for the small hp mariners by yamaha. The electrical connector connects up with all the correct matching wiring. Here is a pic of the cable end to the motor and a pic of someones motor with the big O-ring ends and stand off bolts. It is the o-ring ends and stand off bolts I am looking for.

I've got the same motor. You have the correct cable. All you need are the two "Cable End" kits shown in the links above. The ones for the shifter and throttle are different lengths - so you'll need one of each (or risk running out of adjustment capacity).
