How to test enrichener /mercury 25 hp 4 stroke

Can anyone send me any literature on testing the enrichener part #854254T on the carburetor please. Hard starting ! rebuilt the carburetor, with the small amount of part's Mercury gives in their rebuild kits. Please help THANKS ALL
