Idle mixture settings

Will adjusting the mixture screws in or out affect the higher RPM performance of my 50 hp 4 stroke outboard???

Or are these settings just for the idle???

The motor seems to struggle at about 3300 rpm and I can't get the WOT that I should.

Only for idle and transistion from idle.

Thanks. I see you included a link for ignition troubleshooting.

I am quite sure this is not a fuel problem. I think it might be the cdi unit or maybe the stator. It seems like the timing is not advancing enough at higher RPM?
