1991 75 Hp Mercury outboard won't start but will run ???

I have a 1991 75 HP Mercury outboard 2 stroke but oil injected (don't have to mix oil and gas).
It's always started and ran great. Thought I had just flooded it as it wouldn't start.
Put n new plugs still wont start.
If I manually open the throttle on the engine it will start and run. Any ideas ????

Sync and link not to spec or throttle/timing screw vibrated loose and out of spec.

Thanks for the quick response Faztbullet. Your the best and I'm sure you can tell I'm no boat mechanic.
I think I'll take it into the shop so I don't mess things up.. It shouldn't be crazy costly I wouldn't think would you?

Thats for a crossflow motor.....different engine altogether.
