I recently acquired a 1977 15' Crestliner fiberglass boat with a 1977 70 hp Mercury 700 outboard on it. I have done pretty well and gotten it started after replacing the CTI switch box, plugs, fuel line, and new gas. I've moved onto getting a permanent battery for it and have found that the 10 year old battery that came with it didn't have any markings on it to indicate the CCA or size. Does any one here know what I should be looking for to get me close to OEM specs? The serial number on the engine is 4715720.
