1993 Mercury 115 service manual?

I'm trying to help out a friend and need a service manual for a 1993 Mercury 115 outboard, from what he tells me it has no spark. Where can I find a complete manual download, or at least the electrical/ignition pages? Any advice on where to start troubleshooting?

Free manuals are as rare as hen's teeth due to copyright laws. You might try your local library. Meanwhile without more info you might check and make sure he hasn't tripped the kill switch.

If you want to troubleshoot the ignition system then your best bet is to check out the CDI website's troubleshooting section. The Merc manual does not go into great detail like CDI website does.

I went to the CDI site and I found information that should be helpful, thanks for the tip. However if anyone has a manual they can email me I'd greatly appreciate it.

The serial number is OD269285, the owner says it's a 1992 or 93. When he first addressed the issue with me he said 1993.
