Mercury 650 65H what year?

Hey, I just bought my first boat, and trying to find out what is the exact engine I have, I know its a Mercury 650 65HP, found the serial but took s/n to marine shop they couldnt tell me, what Im trying to do is find the year so I can order the right water pump, the only serial number I can find on the motor is back by the transit, S/N 3001563,

Welcome to iboats. Your s/n comes up as a 1979 Canadian. I cheated after seeing the Ltd. and Ontario. I found the serial number here. MERCURY OUTBOARD MODEL YEAR GUIDE 60 HP - 100 HP -- Mastertech Marine

not sure about that, it looks like a redband to me, has a silver block as well, l'd think '68-'71 would be closer to the mark, serial number is close to that

That s/n comes up as:
