I have been servicing my M1150 and after replacing the water pump, changing lower unit lube etc, I now notice a bit of clicking sound when shifting into forward gear out of the water and on the muffs. I haven't lake tested it yet. I have no idea if this sound was there prior to my servicing the engine. It seems like maybe it isn't going into gear sharply/quickly enough. Any thoughts? Should I be making a shift linkage adjustment? What is the correct procedure?
