1995 Mercury 115 4 cylinder 2 stroke three jaw reverse gear replacement

I have this 115 Mercury that wont lock into reverse. Ser # 0G257156. Tried shift cable adjustment. Wont hold even if shifted by hand at engine linkage.

I pulled the carrier and prop shaft assem. The shift cam, clutch dog and reverse gear are worn bad. Three jaw reverse gear.

I looked up the parts. It shows the three jaw gear NLA. Replacement is six jaw gear set, forward, pinion, reverse. Are there other parts i will need to make this switch other than clutch and shift cam.

Sei gearcase swap says you need to pull powerhead and replace mid section shift shaft.

Is there a Mercury service bullitin on this three jaw to six jaw swap?
