I own Mercury 2006 fourstroke EFI,115HP that wont start. last yr had a problem water in the fuel after filling it up, had that repaired by the dealership. took it out 3 times after that and it ran great. Took it out yesterda, first time this yr primed the bulb, turned the key and it fired up, ran a few mins and stopped. tried reprimingand starting,tried the choke pushing the key in etc. Went out in the yard today and hooked hose up to flush while i tried to start it again.nothing. used a starter fluid twice and it would run but once i stopped sprayingit stopped running. I cleaned and replaced th fuel filter under the crowl nothing.ive checked the fuses all are good. at times it acts like it wants to fire then nothing. any other ideas of things i need to check.
