Hello everyone, how are you,all today. Hope maybe you can confirm what i think may be my problem. I,ve just aquired this motor and havnt made it to the lake yet,, LOL. Motor misses on #3 ctl, intermitantly. doesnt want to idle. cleand carbs first, but they looked real good. also replaced plugs. compression looks great. Decided to check timing and was off a little. also placed timing light on other three plugs and thats when i found no.3 misfire.shows misfire even without boot on plug. what do you think, possibly power pack .Just shade tree mechanic, so please make it sound simple, LOL. thanks for any ideas you may have.I swapped # 3 and #2 coils and plug wires but didnt make any difference.
