Motor was running fine then lost all power. I suspected the starter solenoid so i replaced it. Still nothing. I can jump starter strait from battery but nothing from ignition switch. Even when jumping the starter it acts like there isn't enough power to start motor yet battery is holding 12.79 volts. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get this thing running again?

The ign power wire on my '77 Merc 1500 broke in the mid 80s, right at the plug. I had to do some surgery on it....

Just because you have 12 volts at the battery does not mean the battery is good. You must put a load test on it to determine if it has the amps to crank it over. You can take two 9 volt radio batteries and hook them together in a series and have 18 volts according to your meter, hook them up to your starter and you would not be able to turn it over,no amps to speak of.You need volts and amps.
