I have a 25 hp Mercury xd with the starter switch located on the tiller handle. The starter burnt up and in the process melted the wires to the starter switch. I have replaced the starter, the starter switch and the cellonoid. All of these are new. The problem is I can not get the starter switch to work. I have power to the cellonoid. I can only assume that I am not wiring everything up correctly. I have the starter wire going to one of the small posts and the other wire from the starter switch goes to a hot wire. Any help would be greatly appreciated. A diagram of where the wires should go would be great. Thanks
