Power trim fluid for 1988 70hp 3 ram system?

one big center ram...two smaller bottom "pistons"

Fluid appears red.

What to use?

How much to fill?


My trim is stuck ....i think its the motor, i dont hear anyting humming but the motor is drawing current cause the wires spark when i connect jumper cables direaclyt to the green plus and black negative wire

Even if the trim fluid is empty....the motor will still run. Remove the trim motor only and see if it spins while off the boat. Motors are not too much money. If the motor works then you might have an internal hydraulic problem. Then remove the plug and manually move the motor up and down to pump out the old fluid and refill with fresh fluid the same way. It takes about 5-8 full cycles to bleed off all of the air.

Get the proper repair manual!!
