I have a 1973 40 hp 402 that I've cleaning the carb, and the 402 mercury carburetor choke linkage I can't get back on correctly. when I put it on it wants to engage the choke all the time. I did see in the forums someone having similar issues but the pictures do not match with my motor.
anyone have advice or picture of one that is working?
