Re: 1981 Mercury 25 Steering
I purchased a brand new 13' steering cable on Ebay last year for $60. I was fortunate,a guy purchased it new and didn't install it later dumping the boat. There are sites that will tell you how to measure correctly for a cable, you will most likely need linkages to mount on your motor as well as a standoff to support the cable where it comes out to meet the motor. If you currently don't have console steering, you wil need a helm unit and a wheel too.
