Hey guys, my 1980 mariner 80hp, is acting up again, last year it felt like it was starving for fuel, so i cleaned the carbs, rebuilt the fuel pump, new plugs, 130 to 150 psi compression in all 4 cyls, I found a little 1/8 hose connecting the base of the engine from the number 1 cylinder to the base of the number 4 cylinder was broken, I replaced it now it idles nice, and full throttle goes good but it has a hard time in between, it eventually stalls and if you go slow then punch it it stalls also. My questions are, first does anyone know what that little hose i replaced does, and second what should I look for next? thanks
