1989 75 hp mariner water hole dribbles help

I just replace water pump per instructions, fired it up for test in water and it dribbles out rear hole and spits more water out hole in front of motor by cavitation plates. Please help

Was it going ok before you replaced it?
Put some thing wire up the rear hole a little bit as that tube blocks by insects etc really easily

i just bought the boat, heavily fogged and they said it ran like a top, cleaned up plugs and It started last night in water. water going to pressure gauge just fine. I will tear down and check seal. and for bug nests.

Carry a length of weed wacker string in the boat, it works great for clearing the P hole and hose.
