mercury oil tank how does it work?

im repowering with a 2001 mercury 200hp saltwater. I had a evinrude so I have to change everything,.
I see the merc oil tank seem to be 2 compartment and hoses I have a tack and separate buzzer in the console will the buzzer work with the tank alarm sender? or do a I need a different alarm?

The oil tank in boat does not have a low oil alert so you need to keep your eye on it, the oil tank on engine if it gets low or if oil pump has problem it will send a rapid alarm.Your buzzer will tie into the control wiring and it has a purple on one side and tan on other.

thanks I just bought the motor and the shop had it in a merc double tank with 2 hoses I got a manual to hook it up as I don't recal exactly how they had it rigged
