1998 Mercury 90hp. hose on front side of lower unit?

Wondering what the little hose on the front side of my lower unit is? 1998 mercury 90. mine has about 4 inches hanging with a two way male fitting on the end so I think it should go to another hose?? but where, I see noting..

Without pics I'm guessing it's the pitot tube for a speedo.

you can see the hose its in front of the lower unit and goes up and stops doesn't go anywhere???

As GA said that's the pitot tube hose for the speedo
