I just purchased a 1986 21' Hustler with a 1999 Mercury 200 saltwater series, engine is in immaculate condition and runs very well. it was well maintained and never ran in saltwater. My question is I'am by no means an outboard mechanic and have no idea about anything on outboards so can somebody give me the 411 on these engines? Are they known for problems? If so what are they? not in regards to the general outboard but more of a short class on the 1999 Merc 200 saltwater series we aquired. Anything we can do to get some more power from her? stuff of that nature. Thanks guys
