Okay have a 150 merc v6 1981 I have no spark on cyl,s 3 and 4 i have changed trigger, changed 1 of the power packs,disconected w/bl wire from packs,swaped trigger wires around to see if i could move problem,checked stator voltage blue wires are low only about 130 and reds about 30 volts. The only time i can move the problem is when i move the coil wire from say # 2 to #4 then i can get spark to the middle cyl #4 anything else i swap nothing changes. so i know the coils on 3 and 4 are good but everything else has failed. It seems kinda odd for both power packs to fail on the middle cyl,s. Could it be possible that i have another bad trigger i think there are 3 banks in the trigger does each bank run like 1 and 2 then 3 and 4 and 5 and 6 or could i have 2 bad boxes both failing on the middle cyl,s or maybe the low voltage on the stator is the problem anyone have some input into this problem?
